Project Esperanza  

This is a coalition of domestic violence, legal and human service organizations that work to address domestic violence in the Latino community. The coalition provides information, technical assistance, legal services, and education on domestic violence.

Works with parents, families and caregivers to create nurturing environments for children, free from abuse and neglect. It provides child abuse prevention program and services that help families break negative parenting habits, improve communication and relationship skills, and take advantage of community resources.

The National Domestic Violence Hotline  

 Anonymous and confidential help 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Hotline advocates are available for victims and anyone calling on their behalf to provide crisis intervention, safety planning, information, and referrals to agencies in 50 states. Assistance available in English and Spanish.

Wake County District Attorney Victim Assistance  

Offers at least one victim witness assistant who provides the following services to victims: referrals, information on case status, court dates and the justice system, court accompaniment, assistance with Victim’s Compensation forms, victim impact statements, property return and employee intercession.
