Support for Families of Children with Special Needs

Family Support Network offers support, education and information to families of children with special needs. This includes children with prematurity, developmental disabilities, chronic illness, and other special needs.

 
Any family member living in Wake County interested in these services can access them for free. Family Support Network is a nonprofit organization.
 
Among its services:
  • One-to-one matching of parents with trained Support Parents
  • Support Parent training
  • Support groups and social gatherings
  • Educational courses and workshops
  • Information about specific disabilities
  • Information about national, state, and local resources
  • Newsletter

  • Online parent support group
