Community Watch
You can learn how to
form a Community Watch group in your neighborhood to help reduce crime. Community Watch is a program that involves citizens who get to know each other and stay aware of what is happening in their neighborhood.

Neighborhood-based Organizations
Community specialists with the Raleigh Community Services Department can help you
organize a neighborhood-based group, such as a neighborhood association. Through neighborhood associations and other such groups, neighbors come together to work for the betterment of everyone.

Neighborhood Improvement Matching Funds
Neighborhood-based organizations in Raleigh may receive up to $5,000 from the City of Raleigh for projects that strengthen and improve neighborhoods. To get
Neighborhood Improvement Matching Funds, neighborhood groups provide a match, which can come through a combination of fundraising, in-kind contributions and other sources.
