Take Part In Your Raleigh Citizens Advisory Council

Everybody in Raleigh is a member of a Citizens Advisory Council (CAC). By being active in your CAC, you can get information and share your opinion about decisions affecting your neighborhood.

If you are 18 years or older and live in Raleigh, you are a voting member of your local Citizens Advisory Council (CAC).

Raleigh’s CACs represent different areas of the city. They provide a way for you to get information and give feedback about decisions affecting your neighborhood.

Every CAC has regular meetings and everyone is invited to attend.

By going to CAC meetings and getting the newsletter for your CAC, you can stay informed about what is happening in your community. You can share your opinion and learn about rezonings, crime, parks and other matters that are important to neighborhoods.

You can learn more about CACs and how you can take part by calling the Raleigh Community Services Department at (919) 996-6100 or checking the information on the City of Raleigh website.
