Help for Job Seekers in Wake County

Helps qualifying families to obtain and maintain employment. Services may include transportation assistance, clothing assistance, training assistance and crisis intervention.
 
Requirements: must be U.S citizen and resident of Wake County, must have at least one child under 18 living in the home, and must meet income requirements

Refers adult and youth to job search assistance and training programs in the area of Wake County. To find out what services are available, call (919) 856-6040 or visit the website.
 
Provides resources and services to aid you during your job search. Some of the services include computer labs, perosnal assistance, workshops and classes on resume writing, interview skills or getting a GED, and more.
 
Provides counseling, training, education, transportation, job placement, assistive technology, and other support services to people with physical, psychiatric, or intellectual disabilities.
