Raleigh residents are invited to sign up now for the spring 2012 session of Citizens Leadership Academy, a series of classes sponsored by the City of Raleigh Community Services Department to help develop community leaders.
Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of each module. Those who complete all three modules will receive the Academy Leadership Plaque. Because Citizens Leadership Academy is offered twice a year -- each spring and fall -- residents can complete the three modules over the course of a year.
Classes are limited to 25 participants to encourage discussion and interaction with class leaders. Residents of the City of Raleigh and areas of its extraterritorial jurisdiction receive priority for admission and may attend for free. Residents of other areas of Wake County will be admitted on a space-available basis for a fee of $40 per module or $110 for all three modules.
