North Carolina has organizations that help you find programs and services that you need, either online or through the phone. 

Find programs and services that apply to Wake County:

  • North Carolina 2-1-1: a free phone services that connects you to community services and refers you to health and human services programs.
  • Care-Line: a hotline with information about human services in North Carolina.
  • North Carolina careLink: easy-to-use website with programs and services for families, seniors, youths, and everyone in-between.

 

There are also several non-profit organizations in Raleigh that provide a range of programs and services.

  • Resources for Seniors: an agency that helps identify service that help seniors and disabled adults in Wake County.
  • The Hispanic Family Center: an organization that offers programs and classes to help Hispanic families in areas of education, health, job training, and connections to community resources.
  • StepUp Ministries: an interfaith community that helps individuals live in safe, affordable housing and have stable jobs with a future through StepUP Jobs Program and the StepUP Life Skills Program.
