If you need information about human services in North Carolina, you can call the CARE-LINE and talk to a specialist who will help guide you. The CARE-LINE number is1-800-662-7030 (English/Spanish) or 1-877-452-2514 (TTY). For local calls, dial 855-4400 (English/Spanish) or 919-733-4851 (TTY). You can reach the CARE-LINE from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week, including state holidays. 

When you call CARE-LINE, you can find out about human services provided by government and nonprofit agencies across North Carolina.
 
The CARE-LINE is a service of the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services, which works with organizations throughout the state to cover all 100 counties in North Carolina.
