The Hispanic Family Center offers programs and classes to help Hispanic families become more integrated into the community. The center focuses on education, health, job training and connections to community resources.
Following are some of its programs and services.
- English as a second language (ESL) for adults (free classes)
- GED in Spanish, HEP (High School Equivalency Program) Agricultural Program (free classes)
- LA Plaza Comunitaria, literacy courses (free classes)
- Computer classes (fees apply)
- Information and referral to community resources

- Bilingual counseling and support services for individuals, couples, families, and groups
Fees for counseling apply. The program accepts most health insurance and Medicaid. For people with no health insurance, the cost is based on income and size of household.

- The Autism Society for North Carolina offers support for parents or caregivers of children with autism.
- Accredited and bilingual personnel provide professional and legal help with family petition, adjustment of status, naturalization, citizenship and TPS (Temporary Protected Status).
Cost for the services is based on the general income guide for poverty.
