StepUP Ministry is an interfaith community that helps individuals live in safe, affordable housing and have stable jobs with a future. It offers the StepUP Jobs Program and the StepUP Life Skills Program.
To qualify for the Jobs Program you must be 21-55 years old, have no pending charges, have stayed clean of drugs for 90 days and 4 months must have passed since any domestic violence situation.
StepUp Ministry also offers vocational training programs:
- Fiber Optic Technician Certification
- Automotive Apprenticeship
- Hire Level
StepUP provides individuals and families with a second chance in life, supporting them in their commitment to be independent, productive members of the community. StepUP teaches basic life skills, offers the support of a caring community, provides safe housing, and opens the door for life-sustaining employment.
This program provides transitional housing. Participants may apply for affordable rental housing. The final step of the program is to become a successful homeowner.
