Assistance for People Stranded in Wake County

Traveler’s Aid helps people who are stranded in Wake County get back to their permanent homes. The program buys a one-way bus ticket to the city of the person’s residence.

To apply, visit Wake County Human Services at Cornerstone, 220 Snow Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27603 and fill out an application. The office takes applications Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
