North Raleigh Ministries provide assistance to eligible people who live in the North Raleigh community in the following zip codes: 27609, 27612, 27613, 27614, 27615, 27616.

Services include:

• A crisis center, offering financial help and food to eligible people in time of crisis. A photo ID and proof of residency such as utility bill are required.

  The crisis center is open Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Call (919) 785-9911 to schedule an appointment or drop in.

• A food bank, providing groceries to people in crisis. Households may be eligible for food assistance once per month if they show proof of residence from the required zip codes. 

  The food pantry is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

• A thrift shop, offering a wide collection of items at reasonable prices. Select from clothing for all ages, toys, exercise equipment, furniture, luggage, books, electronics, a wide range of audio and video equipment including stereos and TVs, kitchen appliances, glassware, musical instruments, collectable items and more. Everybody is welcome.

  The thrift shop is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
