Resources for Homeless People in Wake County

Provides transitional housing, helps move families into permanent homes, and offers life skills classes and after-school care for homeless families and families with children.

Offers programs that teach basic life skills, create support of the community, provide safe housing, and opens the door to training and employment opportunities. 
 
 
Helps adults in poverty become employed so that they have the steady income necessary to secure housing and create financial and social stability in their lives.
 
This center provides a Job Readiness Program for homeless or marginally-housed men and women who are either unemployed or work occasional day labor.
 
It also provides an access point for job seekers to conduct online employment.
Hours: Tuesday and Thursday 1:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Helps homeless people by providing them with basic needs such as food, shelter, and health care. Also, offers services that promote self-sufficiency such as employment and housing.

Provides shelter, meals, case management, and educational services to homeless families in addition to promoting action and awareness in the community regarding homelessness.
 
Responds to the needs of homeless families in Wake County through a multi-step program that addresses homelessness and its causes. Provides temporary stability to homeless families as they work toward permanent independence.
