Did you know your child can get free tutoring and after-school programs if the school doesn't meet state standards for 3 or more years? The school is required by law to tell you and offer your child these programs.

If you have questions or want to enroll your child in these programs, you must talk to your school principal. Only parents or guardians can apply for the programs.

When you find out what the approved programs are for your school district, you have to contact the programs directly to get your child enrolled.

If you think the school isn't telling you everything you need to know, you can contact your state Department of Education immediately.
