After-school programs offered by the Wake County Public School System
Some Wake County schools offer after-school programs that provide students a safe, stimulating environment outside school hours. Most after-school programs begin after school dismissal and run until 6:00 pm.
Programs are available for traditional calendar, modified calendar, and year-round calendar schools.
Contact your base school to find out whether it hosts an after-school program and whether your student is eligible. To find your base school, please call (919) 850-1921.
After-school programs may also be available for the pre-scheduled early release dates.
There are fees associated with both after-school programs. Ask your school about payment options.
