Summer School in Wake County

Wake County high school students who need credits to be promoted to the next grade or to graduate can enroll in summer school programs. Most programs run from early July to early August.

 
The school system admits students to summer school based on the following priority:
 
1. Seniors needing to graduate
2. Juniors needing to graduate
3. Sophomores needing a class to be promoted
4. Freshmen needing a class to be promoted
 
You must submit an application for summer school programs. Applications are available at your base school. Contact your base school for more information. To find your base school, please call (919) 850-1921.
