Digital Connectors Youth Program in Raleigh

Raleigh’s Digital Connectors Program offers an opportunity to young people ages 14-21 to learn about technology and make a difference in the community.

This program identifies talented young people to become Digital Connectors and receive intensive training in computer technology. Digital Connectors also build their leadership and career skills so they are prepared for college and the workforce.

In addition the free training, each Digital Connector receives $500, a laptop computer, a flip camera and other incentives for participating.

In return, Digital Connectors teach their families, friends, and neighbors how to use the Internet to improve their lives and fully participate in the economy.

The next program date has not been set yet.

This program is sponsored by the City of Raleigh and the nonprofit One Economy Corporation.

If you are interested in becoming a Digital Connector or learning more about the program, please contact Linda Graham Jones in the City of Raleigh Information Technology Department at (919) 996-5468 or linda.jones@raleighnc.gov.
