These bus systems operate in the Raleigh area:
- Capital Area Transit (CAT) provides service seven days a week throughout the City of Raleigh. CAT operates 37 fixed routes and two express routes throughout the city.
- Wolfline, N.C. State’s free bus service, operates when classes are in session and provides limited service on days that faculty and staff report to work. Wolfline provides intra-campus service and connections to the Centennial Campuses, McKimmon Center, two park and ride lots, official N.C. State housing and surrounding areas along the routes. Wolfline buses are open to the public.
- R-Line is a free bus service that connects people to restaurants, stores, entertainment venues, museums, hotels and parking lots in downtown Raleigh. It stops at fixed locations along its route.
- Triangle Transit operates regional bus and shuttle services for the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area.
